I was on campus this afternoon and had a break between classes so I went to Casa Que Pasa (home of the world famous potato burrito) for some grub, a Stone IPA, and the wi-fi. The food was great as always. I ordered a Green Magma Quesadilla add Asada. It is basically a quesadilla with lettuce, spouts, crumbled cojita cheese. It is a pretty rad meal if you are into veggies, but I like to add Asada because I am like that.
After some hearty beverages and quality eats for pretty cheap I rode my bike back up to campus. When I say up to campus, if you have ever been to Western Washington University you know what I mean. I went into the gym for a climb sesh before the WWU DECA chapter meeting. I haven't been into the gym in quite some time and could tell. I hopped on some easy stuff to get my blood flowing and limber up the joints. The Wade King Rec can be a pretty big meat market but offers a pretty good amount of things to occupy your mind while giving your muscles a break from bouldering.
The bottom line? I need to climb more. Not so much for the scenery, but the fact that my grip is pretty much shot. After 45 minutes of climbing I had to go to the meeting. Normally 45 minutes isn't enough to get a solid pump in at the gym, but today was just right.

Bachelor Party Weekend
Last Friday afternoon a group of guys headed down to Baker Lake, WA to get a little bit of pre-wedding relaxation in. What occured was exactly like what I planned. There was a lot of beer, dirty jokes, meat on the grill, and a whole lot more canoe trips than I had envisioned. We shared stories of life and relationships, mostly the good ones and avoided the bad ones. I left my camera, phone, and all other photographic devices on the shore in my truck to avoid the desire to capture the secret camping debauchery that was inevitable in our "Pirasta Cove." Others brought cameras, so I really have no idea what will surface in the future. For now, my mental images of awesome dudes doing awesome things in the wilderness are all that I need. Especially the image of capsized canoes at 2 AM and our newly found friend "JUDY!".
Next stop for Mr. Terence Klein: The Altar!
I guess I have to say that the best idea that I have had in a long while was to take the Bachelor Party to the great outdoors and keep the party rolling for three days. The traditional stripper, booze, bad decisions aren't all that glamorous or even necessary!
Also, if you find yourself heading out to Baker Lake don't miss out on the opportunity to drink some amazing beers and toss some horseshoes at the Birdsview Brewing Co.! Incredibly strong beers with great taste!

Powder Pooped!
After riding the past three days at Mt. Baker my ass is beat. I am completely exhausted. I went to school today and had one hell of a time trying to keep my head up and be positive. I really do not like complaining and it is one of my worst character traits, so I had to try REALLY hard not to bitch and moan about how completely drained I am. I think that I over did it to the point of actually being angry at myself. Lets go back and evaluate the events of the weekend to see where I may have screwed myself over.

Interesting Perspective
I am always looking for new and interesting perspectives on Snowboarding, Skateboarding, Rock Climbing, Action Sports, and Marketing. Along with those topics some related issues that interest me are Sustainable Marketing and bridging the gap between the growing nature of businesses and the goal of enhancing the current sports industry business model to a healthier design for all!
